Tat is, I'm not seeing the problem with getservby*().  I haven't written a test
for getaddrinfo() (never having used it before), but looking at the code, I 
doubt
it will handle sctp sensibly, since it doesn't know about SOCK_SEQPACKET
(or that an sctp socket could be either SOCK_SEQPACKET OR SOCK_STREAM).
