The Xorg server & drivers built in 30-45 minutes on our dual Opteron
build machines when they used Imake. Since converting to autoconf,
automake, and libtool, the same code now builds in 3-4 hours.
Unfortunately, other than having the builds rip out as much libtool
damage as possible, I'm not sure there's a good way around this without
forking far from the community.
