getopts "d:(directory)f:(file)(input-file)o:(output-file)" opt
and getopts "d:f:o:" opt worked fine, but
getopts "d:f:(file)(input-file)o:(output-file)" opt failed with "-f: unknown
option" when invoked with "-f tmpfile"
