I have a notebook with an NVidia card and the default screen resolution is
1280x800. It works great with the
default X11 drivers. After installing NVIdia's drivers from kynaptic's
repositories and
tweaking /etc/X11/xorg.conf to run the driver, the only available options which
are listed are 1280x760, which
turns the screen resolution into an ugly mess.
