My artsd crash at login to KDE.
I'm using KDE 3.5 Beta 2, Kubuntu breezy. Note that I got the same crash using
KDE svn in Gentoo.
I have a Toshiba Tecra A3, with an onboard Intel, using the AC97 drivers.
The sound worked in KDE 3.4.3, before installing the beta packages.
David Raschs recipe above don't work, artsd seems to crash silently.
There seems to be to little debug info around to make sense of the backtrace.
