Ubuntu | kdelibs4c2
Summary: [Dapper] Dependent Package Not Found
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: kdelibs4c2
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [email protected]
Im using Dapper and upgraded to Kubuntu RC2 using the Dapper repo and not the
kubuntu.org repo
However there are loads of broken packages, get errors like this with most
packages
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install apollon
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
apollon: Depends: kdelibs4c2 (>= 4:3.4.3) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages
apollon and loads of other kubuntu programs depend on kdelibs4c2 but
kdelibs4c2a is installed
Hopefully this gets fixed soonish
