Can you please confirm the following
Load the katapult launcher (so the launcher shows on screen after pressing your
hot key) then hit ctrl-c - you should see a menu
In the menu, select "configure katapult" then from the list on the side - select
"display"
The second control should be a slider - is this all the way to the left?
If you move this slider to a different position other than fully left - does it
fix the problem?
