Comment: That may well be the case. However, running 'ldd /usr/lib/kde3/kio_zeroconf.so' yields no missing library. Same thing if I run 'ldd /usr/lib/libkdnssd.so.1'. I can easily run 'avahi-discover' from the commandline, and that works.
