I've seen the buttons in the toolbar recently, they would appear in some views but it was inconsistent. The toolbar changes for every view mode (chosen from the menu) and I don't remember when it was that they'd appear. I think file size view was one. I recently reinstalled my system, and I can't get the buttons to appear anymore. If you go to settings>configure toolbars, there are no view mode buttons under available actions.
