Please add my vote to "please fix this bug." I dist-upgraded from Kubuntu Breezy, and a number of my personal configs got stomped.
There is no Midnight Commander profile on either of my Kubuntu systems. A manual fix was posted for this on the Kubuntu forums at http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=5571.0; it tells how to edit konq-kubuntu.rc. Another problem is there is no Delete function in Image View. This really gums up the works for me, as I use Konq's Image View extensively to manage my digital photos. I shall file a separate bug report for this, if there isn't one already.
