I can verify the crash/freeze when changing DVB channel after a short
period when pulse audio is used. Kaffeine does this only when changing a
channel and the DVB stream has been playing for a while. Changing
channel on the beginning of the DVB streaming it works fine. I have
pulse audio enabled in Ubuntu 8.04 and pulse audio setting selected in
Kaffeine audio settings. The crash does not occur when alsa is used
instead of pulse audio. (Kaffeine version 0.86, KDE 3.5.9)

I cannot use pulse audio in Kaffeine for DVB playing because of this
bug. I suggest this is fixed as soon as possible because pulse audio is
enabled as default in Ubuntu 8.04.

Some debuggin data from console before the freeze:

Film mode enabled.
Film mode disabled.
kaffeine: WARNING: KXineWidget: Skipped frames: 17 - discarded frames: 0
