Thanks for the bug report, Jarno. I happen to have seen a possible cause of this bug in the source code today in the Amarok 2.x series.
Look at the ScanResultProcessor::addTrack at http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/multimedia/amarok/src/collection/sqlcollection/ScanResultProcessor.cpp?view=markup There's a line in there where it matches based on a white list of file extensions. I'm not sure how to fix it, but this bug should be forwarded upstream. ** Changed in: amarok (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: amarok (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- Amarok does not understand audio file if it does not have audio filename extension https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/369970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to amarok in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
