Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: userconfig

Freshly installed Kubuntu 9.10 with all updates applied as of
14-02-2010:

Having created a new user with the wrong User ID (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/userconfig/+bug/521685), I try
to change the User ID of a user:

- Start System Settings -> Advanced -> User Mangement
- Double-click on a user
- In the resulting pop-up dialogue, click on the value of the "User ID" field
=> I don't get a cursor in that field and I cannot type in that field - hence,
it is not possible to change the user ID.

In combination with bug 521685, this means that there is no GUI way to
create a user with a custom User ID.

For completeness: Other fields in that dialogue can successfully be
modified.
