** Description changed: I'm assuming this is kdelibs and that the problem is the same between programs because I've only ever seen this on acer notebooks, and several of them. Krusader: - With space information enabled in prefs, navigating to a directory causes a couple second delay before display of directory contents. Dolphin: - Opening dolphin takes several seconds - Right clicking a folder in dolphin takes 2-3 seconds for context menu to appear - Notes: - Two acer notebooks with SSD's, 3 with HDD's, all exhibit this problem. - Creating new user profiles does not help - Running kubuntu in virutal machines on these same machines does not have these problems + - Konqueror seems to have no delays https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=272095 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 Package: kdelibs-bin 4:4.11.2-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.11.0-12.19-generic 3.11.3 Uname: Linux 3.11.0-12-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Oct 19 01:32:18 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-10-19 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 13.10 "Saucy Salamander" - Release amd64 (20131016.1) MarkForUpload: True SourcePackage: kde4libs UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
