You have been subscribed to a public bug: I have a non-ASCII character leading my Bash prompt. When using the otherwise terrific UbuntuMono font half of the last letter in my CLI is cut off. See attached screenshot. The top line is from root, which has the stock Bash prompt. The lower line is from my user, with the non- ASCII character leading the prompt.
