** Description changed: Looking at bug #1066196 (Typo in package description eigen2-doc) we discovered that eigen2 has been removed in Debian in 2014 and replaced with eigen3 (or Wrapper to it). Apart from the the fact that unmaintained packages may/can initiate security-holes we don't see a reason why it should be kept in newer versions of Ubuntu. Further details see comments #4, 5 in mentioned bug #1066196 Some additional informations: Project-Wiki about the transition in Jan.2014 http://eigen.tuxfamily.org/index.php?title=Eigen2 + Debian-changelog: + http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs//main/e/eigen3/eigen3_3.2.1-2~bpo70+1_changelog Thanks in advance
