I've talked to the Debian folks, as that's the preferred route for new
software, and they're concerned about a possible move to tty1 for SDDM.

They plan on patching that and uploading that in the future.

In the meantime, I'll try to get backported fixes for the bugs you
mentioned, as that's important to have. If you notice any other bugs I
can backport fixes for, please respond here.

(either way, we might not be able to get SDDM 0.14 in previous releases
(Xenial, Yakkety, etc.), so that will be what has to happen)
