I suspect (as discussed on IRC) that this is not a new dependency for partition manager, but the result of fdisk falling off a standard install.
i.e. from this change from debian first shipping in mantic: libblockdev (3.0.1-2) unstable; urgency=medium * Drop fdisk Depends from libblockdev-part. It only needs the library, not the command line tools. https://salsa.debian.org/utopia- team/libblockdev/-/commit/a80898dd1409d45505fcbb55ae26308fde12b727 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to partitionmanager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2037826 Title: kde partitionmanager missing dependency on fdisk To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partitionmanager/+bug/2037826/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
