I also had exactly the same problem. I tried to burn a iso image with K3b at 98% of the process it stopped with a "write error"(see attachment). BUT THE BURNT DWD RESULTED WITH NO ERRORS. THE DWD BOOTED AND THE FILES WERE INTEGER.
