The Ubiquity installer is now unmaintained as it has been replaced by either the 'Ubuntu Desktop Installer' or 'Calamares' starting with the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS release. So this bug report is being closed as 'Invalid' as the reported issue will not be fixed and Kubuntu 22.04 will become 'end-of-life' in May 2025. New bug reports relating to the installer should be reported against the 'ubuntu-desktop-provision' project or the 'calamares' package.
