Hello everybody, I'd like to thank you all again for attending the last Community Council meeting and summarising the progress of the Kubuntu team there. Everybody was very pleased with the work you are doing, so keep up the good work! :-)
Two things we discussed as next steps during the meeting were: - Getting the Kubuntu Development team some more publicity and advertising the work that still needs to get done. I volunteered to help with getting the word out about your activities as part of one of the next Ubuntu Development Updates. This could either take the form of an interview with some of you or something we maybe collectively write up on Etherpad. Screenshots, progress on specific blueprints, lists to TODO items (such as bugs, etc.) are very welcome. - A bit more immediate: Ubuntu Developer Week. If you are interested in presenting the Kubuntu team at UDW, please ping me RSN as we want to announce the event soon. We still have a bunch of open slots: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDeveloperWeek/Timetable (Please CC me on replies, I'm not on the list.) Thanks again for all your great work. Let's hope we can get a couple new contributors this way. :-) Have a great day, Daniel -- Get involved in Ubuntu development! developer.ubuntu.com/packaging Follow @ubuntudev on identi.ca/twitter.com/facebook.com/gplus.to -- kubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-devel
