No its not entirely reproducible, I made it happen using the standard rhel4 kernel and it was trying to do the login of gdm, like I hit enter after the password and it never came back... didn't even get to the gnome loading screen at all... I haven't had this happen with 19 yet... but this was the first time this has happened to me at all really.
