With newer KVMs (> 28), I also encounter Internet Explorer 6 (WinXP)
lockup with 100% CPU load on the Java download page
(http://jdl.sun.com/webapps/getjava/BrowserRedirect?locale=en&host=java.com:80).
I suspect that IE Java plugin is causing trouble. Desktop Java
applications work well though.

I am running on Core2.
