Versions of gfxboot that now use protected mode are included in openSUSE 10.2+ and Ubuntu Gutsy (post tribe 3). Both of these fail in the same way. I've validated this failure with git 263773f7a6606efda85f7b184a067b5f560ed39b on an Intel Core 2 Duo. My host kernel is 2.6.22 and I'm on x86_64. This problem does not occur with -no-kvm. The QEMU command is: sudo qemu-system-x86_64 -hda ./null.img -snapshot -cdrom ./openSUSE-10.3-Beta3-GNOME-i386.iso -boot d ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=893831&aid=1798813&group_id=180599 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
