Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Daniel van Vugt (danv) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: savevm is extremely slow Initial Comment: In kvm-79, a 1.3MB snapshot has taken several minutes to savevm. In kvm-78 it was slightly faster taking only about one minute to savevm 2.4MB. It doesn't sound right to me. Also, Michael Tokarev is reporting the same thing on the kvm mailing list. kvm-79 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop amd64(x86_64) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Avi Kivity (avik) Date: 2008-11-23 20:44 Message: A temporary workaround is to use -drive file=...,cache=writeback ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=893831&aid=2275173&group_id=180599 -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe kvm" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
