Currently device assignment forces pinning the entire guest memory. The following kernel and qemu patches add balloon support for device assignment. When the balloon inflates, the corresponding pages are unmapped from the IOMMU and unpinned, and accordingly they are remapped and pinned when the balloon deflates.
