What I'm seeing here is:

directly.
[ 50.410492] serio: i8042 KBD port at 0x60,0x64 irq 1
[ 51.518829] serio: i8042 AUX port at 0x60,0x64 irq 12
[ 51.519104] mousedev: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice
kbd_init() is called if that's what you wanted to know.
