Customer with a KX-TA624 installed by another company. Originally had no surge
protection and took a hit. I was able to default the KSU and reprogram it. I
also installed a Towermax for the AC and the incoming phone line. I
reprogrammed it and it has been fine for 8 months.
Last week, no storm, and ext port 4 lost it programming. You can call out and
answer a call and the display is fine but the station name is blank and the
phone doesn't ring. [the phone instrument is OK on any other extension port. I
tried to get into programming and the password doesn't work.
Is there any way to factory default the KSU INCLUDING defaulting the password?
Any other thoughts.
