Turn off idle C.O. line pickup and use 80x codes. No. >Are there any limitations or loss of capability on the T7736 system phone >when using a SLT on the same extension, and specifying so in the TA824 >settings? There are some features that don't work, mostly pertaining to BGM and paging. >Lastly, am I crazy or does "One-Touch Dialing" from the PF buttons really >mean "2 steps to dial", first have to pickup the receiver or speakerphone >and press Intercom or a CO line before pressing a PF button? It's an 824 and that's one of the limitations, but it's the only system that has CO based VM lighting the MW light, Auto Attendant built-in, and CID to a single line set built-in. PF's work fine on my TAW-848 :-). >Oh, one final thing, is there a firmware ROM upgrade out there for the TA824 >that I can download? I think the version I have is 1.0.59 Y88xxxxxxx Yes, RTFM. In the packet of stuff you probably set aside is a single page insert about online training. It's also the website address, Login and Password for Panasonic. Browse the KXTA section, which is probably the only phone system you can get to with that password and download the software to do the upgrade(s).
