Normally if the call is transferred to another extension, CID will not show if the person transferring stays on the line to announce the call. If they transfer the call and then hang up, the CID should show up at the ringing extension.

Some have said phone had to be programed to ring on incoming to see ID. It seems on older releases there was a problem. I can't remember. I don't want to find out hard way.
