for number 1 -
WCID was missing in some early versions, in others you had to enter a
password in the utility (couldn't access it directly)
I think it was
utility command: kme
password: panasonic
then wcid

for number 2, there are 3 settings.
In the tvs parameters (can't say exactly where) there is a transfer time setting
in the ksu there is a "transfer recall time"
and if the station uses forwarding then there is also a forwarding timer.
I belive the shortest one of those takes the lead.

my experience it is the tvs system parameter that needs tweeking
first. The ksu timer is usually set pretty long.

For number 3, here are the things I usually change:
TVS-50/80

in each mailbox, disable transfers to operator./ and menu : 4-4-5-1 and 4-4-6-1

PROMPTS you may want to change
Dial into mailbox 998, Then -5-6-1-1
turn off prmpts
819 welcome to the vpx
248,249,250 good afternoon, good morning, evening
49 calling the operator
502 =sorry, no one is available to answer the call

Good luck
Charles
