There was a post quite awhile ago with the name of a fellow in, I believe
Arkansas or Mississippi that does an excellent reasonable repair on cordless
phones. I can't locate his info but someone on the list may be able to
repost it.
I have used him a few times and all with excellent results.

I bought a used cordless kxt7885. The base light goes from red to green
after awhile but when I try to use the phone it starts to beep and then

battery indicator blinks empty. Same result with all combinations 2

battery, charger, or handset issue? I'd try a new battery but they are
