The only thing with VOIP is, many customers go back to the phone company after about a month. The voice quality is not very good, especially connecting from digital to analog circuits. I have witnessed this with VOIP from Cisco systems for Cathay Bank which previously had cost effective full featured Panasonic systems. The discussion has being running back and forth. Many branches have not been happy, customer's complain of poor audio quality, and the cost of one of the VOIP phone terminals from Cisco Systems is in excess of $200.00

Does anyone have any experience or recommendation for a device that converts
a PRI circuit to analog lines? We'd like to port a bunch of fax & modem
lines to a PRI, and need a way to get them into a "form" that the devices
will see.

I did a quick Google search and see an item from arca-technologies.

BTW: We just changed over to a VOIP system, so dropping some analog port
adapters into our PBX is no longer an option.

Thanks.
