Thanks John, that sure was easy!

And Erling - believe me I tried to get certified some time ago! Pany referred me to a local agent to train, who refused to train me because they knew I was running my own business and wasn't going to work for them! Pany didn't seem to be particularly concerned about this protective arrangement when I spoke to them. Because I'd only come across two KX-TDxx units a year at best (and it's usually to fix the infrastructure which I'm already licensed for) it hardly seemed worth investing all the time for such little return. The cost for the local agent is so high (and many agents have stopped doing Panasonic PABXs in favour of other brands) it isn't cost effective to bring in the hired guns leaving me to work it out.

If things change (i.e. there's a real demand for Panasonic service work around me and it's clear that it's not being adequately / fairly covered by the local oligopoly) I'll attempt to train somewhere else.

Thank you all for your input.

All you have to do is use your programming software and open the dmsys
file on the sd card.
