Don, it's been years... Even the TD1232 was dropped years ago, it's replacement, the TDA has also been replaced now by the TDE and NCP. The TA1232 was dropped even a longer time ago. The TAW848 was dropped but they opened up the TDA50 so that installers could get certified online, making it also available for electricians or alarm or home theater installers that wanted a better system.
