So I'm trying to understand err lessen my befuddlement on what various
TCP/IP cards do with the TDA50. Anyone have experience with same?
If there's a list of what cards fit a 50, and exactly what each does, I
don't have it.
The TDA5450 is called a 4-Channel SIP Trunk Card. But The Fine Manual for
it shows pictures of stations attached to it, too.
And what card does H.323? {mentioned in passing}
One of the reasons to use IP phones is so the PBX can be in Timbucktoo and
a station in Kalamazoo. But I'm not clear if the 5450 does that as well as
being a "SIP Trunk" card.
Is station-side that what the 5470 does?
I grok that the 5480 is to tie two separated cabinets [one in Timbucktoo,
the other in Hooterville] together.
So, please jump in and tell me how wrong I am.....
