Correct system reset :
Power ON - wait for the power light to stay solid red
Move the switch near the reset button from NORMAL to CLEAR
Press and release the RESET button.
Power light will go off for few seconds  than start flashing.
As soon as it starts flashing (no more than 2or3 flashes -do not wait to stop
flashing) move the switch from CLEAR to NORMAL.

Pressing reset switch only is the same as power on/off.
