KX-T: 308 software com port

I haven't used the Panasonic 308 software much and have just loaded it on a
new harddrive in my laptop. I loaded it up at a clients site but when I
tried to configure it for com 1 it wouldn't let me change it. It was stuck
on com2.
Any tips for this?
