I'm connecting a VPS 50 to a digital 1232 via port 16. What I'm
trying to do is to have one trunk group (a single line, actually) go
to one port of the VPS 50 and another trunk group go to the other.
One line is business, the other personal, so there are different
messages and custom services. Right now, I'm connecting the two with
a 4 wire patch cord to port 16, but it answers both incoming lines the
same (trg 1). The first line is assigned to TRG1 and the second to
TRG2. There are two more lines assigned to 3 and 4 if that matters.
If it matters, I have the Programmator software for the 1232 and Voice
Mail Master for the VPS50, but also have Hyperterminal for either, and
can program the 1232 through extension 101.
Seems like when I setup VPS50 via hyperterminal, I saw ext 165 for
line 1 and 167 for line 2, but only 165 is active now.
