Hi, 

I wonder if someone can help me? I have two 
KXTD 816's which i want to link together using a Multitech VOIP Via my network. 
My problem is that if you call another extension and then after a normal conversation 
one of you hangs up the other person as a result hears the reorder tone which goes on 
for ever! 

My question is..is it possible to disable the reorder tone in this situation or limit 
its length so that the line is dropped by the exchange. 

This is a problem for me because the MultiTech Voip box only considers the call ended 
if there is silence or current loss on the line. 

I can't see anything in the user manual which sounds like it could help but i've only 
taken over the phone system recently and am not too experienced. I'd be very gratefull 
for any help you can offer
