Perhaps on the second part of your question you could setup a phantom
extension group and assign that phantom button on the phones you want
to ring when someone pushes xyz. XYZ is programmed in the custom service
menu to ring extension 100 (which rings the phones you have setup on
that phantom extension.)
Then, if no one answers the message ends up in mail box 100. Now, mailbox
100 needs a seperate COS that knows to forward (move) those messages
to someones box on the system who will be responsible for managing the
voicemail left for phantom group 100.
