The concensus seems that the -5 firware isn't compatible with older CPU
boards.
Does anyone know what the change is? More to the point, is it something
that someone with good soldering/desoldering equipment and experience can
accomplish?
Second, in the past, I could always find several reasons to upgrade but the
new features of the -5 seem rather sparse - I don't hear much call for more
door phones. Did improvements in Caller ID and perhaps a PRI card ever
materialize?
