I have recently purchaced a KX-TD1232 KSU, system phones, and a KX-S50 voice mail
unit. I am having trouble setting up the voice mail unit. I connected it to Port 8
on the KSU (using a 2 pair cable), the XDP is enabled for port 8. Port 8-1 ext # 1108
/ 8-2 ext # 1008. I connected the voice mail unit, set the DIPs to "1010" (position 5)
and turned the unit on. It went through the initilization and port detection. I
ended up at a > prompt.... according to my manual I am supposed to press the enter key
and get a menu. I press enter and nothing happens. I am still at the > prompt. Can
anyone offer me suggestions?
