Update about the Catalan translation (see below for context and sorry
about the delay):
The Catalan translation is now tracked here:

Files to translate (PO files) are available from that page.
You should put yourself in CC for that issue: you will need to create a
Bugzilla account (same link, see top of page), then flag "Add me to CC
list", save and then you will automatically receive all notifications.
In the first comment you find a link to the PO files. I recommend that
you read both http://www.openoffice.org/l10n/how_to_join.html and the
"Tips for translators" at http://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html
before you start working. And please send all your questions to this
mailing list.
Please post a comment in the issue when you start working, so that we
can better coordinate with new volunteers.

Thank you Marta! The status for the Catalan translation is:
- We already have a volunteer, Joan Capdevila Fontanals (in CC)
interested in helping; you will need to coordinate if both of you are
still available.
- PO files for Catalan (ca) should have been sent to Joan, but I don't
have a confirmation and I can't find them at
http://people.apache.org/~jsc/translation/ ; could it be that we lost
track and that they are still pending?
- While we look for the PO files, you can find more information about
tools and processes at http://www.openoffice.org/l10n/how_to_join.html
and http://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html ; it's not very complex,
but you will need to install a couple programs.
I, or most likely Juergen, will update you again when we have PO files
for Catalan available online. In the meantime, if you don't want to miss
announcements you should subscribe to this mailing list: send an empty
e-mail message to [email protected] and respond to
the confirmation request you will receive.
