Yes, to me as well. In fact, I am very fond of microeconomics, and one
of my current students wrote three of the foundational papers in the
field of market-based resource management.

But so far, neither he nor I have been able to reconcile the
requirements of market-based resource management with the principles of
sound and robust system design.

We view this as a research challenge.
