C'mon people, let's be real. Yes, these candidates are probably "working hard," but let's put this into perspective; it is nothing, I repeat NOTHING, compared to what some single mothers and yes, single fathers, endure day in and day out for *years* and decades. Even some single people. And there is a distinction. Anyone who's read - or worse, lived or living - what Eherenreich wrote of in NICKEL AND DIMED: ON NOT MAKING IT IN AMERICA, can only nod in agreement. My point? There's "working hard," (small "w") and then there's TRULY "Working hard." -jp ===== When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important, whether I am afraid. -Audre Lorde He was the most fervent man I ever met, and he didn’t have a copy-cat bone in his body. -Peter Falk on John Cassavetes We can dream forever, but we have to do something now. -Rell Sunn Loyalty to the country always.
