My mother Olympia, passed away Friday, basically after 91 years she just wore out.
A couple of have asked when a service might be and any help that we might need. ============================================= She was obviously of great help to me and to Change Links. We have scheduled a service at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, the one in the Valley. Thursday at 9 AM in the Faith Chaple, the little one attached to the main building. It will last about 1 1/2 hours. Then at Noon we will have a reception at my sister, Linda's house in Mar Vista. Thats 3980 East Blvd. You exit the 405 at Venice, turn left on Sawtelle, go to Washington Place, turn right, pass McLauglin and turn right on East Blvd, up a few houses. The phone number there is (310) 391 3942. And if people would like later at about 5 PM at my house in North Hollywood. 11835 Lemay St. North Hollywood. (near Victory and Laurel). ============================================================== And also seeking advice: My mother had a reverse mortgage on the house, which means the mortgage company will be wanting their money soon. We could sell the house and pay it off. I would then need to move. A nice guest house would be best. Or as some have suggested, get another load, pay off the mortgage company and then maybe rent the house to pay that loan off and help support moi and Change Links. Maybe covert our gargage into a liveable place for myself. All a bit complicated for me, Im not big on financially manipulations. Also we will be cleaning out a lot of some, some to a dumpster, some to something like Goodwill, some to a yard sale. We will need some help in doing this.
