Activist and filmmaker Katherine Cheairs, a student of the Sudanese crisis, will speak about the questions CNN and Fox News havenât even asked: why are women and children targeted for mass rapes, abduction and slavery? How are Sudanese feminists organizing to defend themselves, and how can U.S. feminists help? Open discussion will follow the talk.
