The USC Program Board and the Latina/o Student Assembly in conjunction with El Centro Chicano and M.E.Ch.A invite you to attend an important presentation regarding the campaign against Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola is responsible for the murder of trade unionists in Colombia and numerous human rights violations in India, Turkey Indonesia and around the globe. Come hear William Mendoza, the vice president of the Colombian Food and Drink Workers Union (SINALTRAINAL) in Barrancabermeja, Colombia and Camilo Romero, a national organizer for United Students Against Sweatshops speak to USC about these issues. William Mendoza has survived several death threats and attempts on his life for giving voice to the violations of Coca-Cola in a campaign that has now reached hundreds of universities and captured headlines worldwide. Come hear his story, learn the facts and join our campaign to get Coca-Cola off our campus! This local event is part of the International Speaking Tour and Week of Action against Coca-Cola, Join Us!!
