A DEPT OF PEACE IS JUST ANOTHER TOOL OF OPPRESSION UNDER THE PRESENT SYSTEM. THE CABINET MEMBERS WHO RUN THE DEPARTMENTS ARE ALL APPOINTED BY THE PRESIDENT. DEPARTMENTS OF LABOR, EDUCATION, HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ALL CURRENTLY EXIST, ORIGINALLY SETUP UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT THEY WOULD ADVOCATE FOR LABOR, EDUCATION, HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. THERE'S AN EPA, A DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, EVEN HAVE A DEPT. OF DEFENSE, AS IF THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND THE PENTAGON WERE DEDICATED TO DEFENSE AND NOT OFFENSE!!!!! ALL OF THIS IS OF NO SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE WHEN THE PEOPLE RUNNING THESE DEPARTMENTS SUPPORT WAR, CAPITAL, IMPERIALISM, PRIVATIZATION AND NEO-LIBERAL OR NEO-CONSERVATIVE POLICIES. A PEACE DEPARTMENT WITH A BUSH (OR CLINTON, OR KERRY OR ONLY CUT THE "DEFENSE" BUDGET BY 25% (INSTEAD OF 100%) KUCHINICH) IS JUST ANOTHER ARM OF REPRESSION, IS JUST ANOTHER MISUSE OF OUR TAX DOLLARS. THE DEPT OF PEACE, UNDER THE CURRENT HEGEMONY WOULD JUST BE ANOTHER TOOL OF NEO-LIBERALISM, LIKE THE OSLO ACCORD, AND ALL THE OTHER "AGREEMENTS" THAT HAVE BEEN USED TO BATTER INDIGENOUS AND POPULAR MOVEMENTS, AS A RUSE TO IMPLEMENT DRACONIAN MEASURES WHILE APPEARING TO ADVOCATE REAL CHANGE.
